What you'll see

Everything in the standard tour is on the table, plus venues that only open up with an introduction. We cover the neon strip and the back alleys, the host and hostess blocks, and the adult district with the same honest context. The difference is the route is yours. Want to spend the whole night in Golden Gai? Done. Want to skip the walk and sit in two specific bars? Done. We plan it with you beforehand instead of handing you a set itinerary.

Some of the venues we can get a private group into do not take public tours at all. That is the part you are paying for.

How the night runs

You tell us what the night is for and we build it. The meeting point and start time flex to your group. Plan on roughly four hours as a baseline, but a private booking can run shorter or longer depending on what you arrange. Your guide stays with your group the entire evening, handles every door and every line of Japanese, and keeps the pace where you want it.

Entry and guiding are covered by the flat fee. Drinks and anything inside the venues beyond the planned stops are on you, and you will know the numbers before the night.
